Kendra Ray

Kendra Ray is currently the MJHS music therapy project manager at Menorah Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brooklyn, New York. She is holds a PhD in Creative Arts Therapy from Drexel University. Her dissertation focused on paid caregivers and adults with cognitive impairments diagnosed with depression who are living in a nursing home. Kendra has more than a decade of experience as a music therapist working with a variety of populations. Earlier in her career, she worked as a music therapist and on therapeutic recreation teams in various settings, including psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes, elementary schools and outpatient clinics. She is a nationally board-certified music therapist and New York State licensed creative arts therapist.
