The 2026 Music Has Power® Symposium & Awards will bring together experts from neuroscience, music therapy, medicine, technology, aging services, and the arts to examine the latest research and practical applications of music-based interventions across the lifespan, with an emphasis on how sound frequency, rhythm, and vibration influence neural function, cognition, and recovery.
Hosted in collaboration with the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC), this year’s symposium will highlight emerging discoveries at the intersection of music, neuroscience, and health while fostering collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders working to advance the field.
