Anthony Cirillo, Board Member of the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function (IMNF), will deliver the opening keynote at the 2026 Midwest Dementia Summit: Escaping Tradition in South Bend, Indiana.
Cirillo’s keynote, “Music and the Brain,” will explore the relationship between music, the brain, and dementia care, highlighting the important role music can play in supporting people living with dementia. He will also draw on the work of IMNF Executive Director and Co-Founder Dr. Concetta Tomaino and her book Music Has Power® in Senior Wellness and Healthcare during his presentation.
The Midwest Dementia Summit, taking place October 6–8, brings together healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community leaders focused on challenging traditional approaches to dementia care and advancing more person-centered models of support.
We are proud to have Anthony Cirillo representing IMNF at this important national conversation about dementia care and the role of music in brain health.
