Dr. Concetta Tomaino to Speak at JoySpan Brain Wellness Salon

Dr. Tomaino joins innovators in sound, AI, and wellness for a deep dive into music’s healing potential

We’re excited to share that IMNF’s Executive Director and Co-Founder, Dr. Concetta Tomaino, DA, LCAT, MT-BC, will be featured at the upcoming JoySpan Brain Wellness Salon—a gathering of leaders at the forefront of neuroscience, wellness innovation, and cognitive health.

On Friday, July 18 at 2:45 PM, Dr. Tomaino will join AI and cognitive design pioneer Joanna Peña-Bickley for an intimate riverside conversation titled: “Orchestrating Neuroplasticity: The Science of Sound as Medicine.”

Topics will include:

  • How music therapy is transforming treatment for Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, and communication disorders

  • The science of 40Hz oscillations and their link to memory and neuroplasticity

  • How rhythm activates dormant brain networks

  • Physio-acoustic therapy’s role in pain reduction and recovery
