We are excited to announce that Dr. Concetta Tomaino, Executive Director of the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function (IMNF), will be presenting at the International Association for Music & Medicine (IAMM) & International Society for Arts and Medicine (ISfAM) 2024 Congress. This prestigious event, titled “The Future of Music and Arts in Medicine and Health”, will take place in Berlin, Germany, and online from September 18-21, 2024.

Wednesday, September 18, 2024: Dr. Tomaino will participate in a session on “Music-Based Interventions for People with Dementia and Their Caregivers.” She will join a team of international experts to discuss the latest research and practical approaches to using music therapy for enhancing the well-being of individuals with dementia and supporting their caregivers.

This hybrid event will bring together medical and artistic experts from around the world, offering opportunities for collaboration and networking. It will be accessible both in-person and virtually, allowing participants to join from anywhere. Online attendees will have access to all congress events except for the in-person poster sessions and social evening. Recordings of the congress will also be available for two years.
