Symposium and Awards Fee: $150 (includes the $25 CMTE registration fee for music therapists).

Awards Ceremony Only Fee: $150

The Music Has Power® Symposium is valued at 3 contact hours for NAB and 3 CMTEs for MT-BCs. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.

There are no prerequisites to take this course. This course is valued at 3 contact hours for NAB And 3 CMTE’s for MT-BC’s. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and should refer to their respective professional requirements for continuing education.


Music, Brain Health and Music-Based Interventions in Senior Wellness and Healthcare is approved by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) for 3 CMTE’s Continuing Music Therapy Education credits. The Institute for Music and Neurologic Function # P-120, maintains responsibility for program quality and adherence to CBMT policies and criteria.


This program is sponsored by the Foundation for Long Term Care (FLTC). The FLTC is a certified sponsor of professional continuing education with the National Association of Boards of Examiners for Long Term Care Administrators (NAB). This program has been approved for 3 CEUs for nursing home administrators under its sponsor agreement with NAB/NCERS. State licensure boards, however, have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses.
